What does truly matter to you? Are you living the life you want to live? Are you spending your time where you want to spend it?
These are big question that trigger deep reflection about what’s really important. This is what Personal Agility did to me ever since I took the Practitioner Workshop in late 2019. I started to reflect on my whole life situation and decided to take myself on a journey to improve my personal and work life. One step at a time.
It all started with the tweet below from Lyssa Adkins appearing in my Twitter feed. My instant reaction?: ‘If Lyssa is praising this workshop it has to be good!‘. I was basically sold and signed up on the same day.
Over the course of four weeks I had been skillfully coached by Maria Matarelli on applying Personal Agility in my daily and weekly routine.
The impact on me was bigger than I had imagined. It made me reflect on what’s really important to me. I realized where I want to spend my energy and what I want to achieve. This clarity helps me in choosing every day what I say ‘Yes’ to, and what I say ‘No’ to (or ‘No, not now’). But saying ‘No’ is not easy. It needs courage. And sometimes I don’t have enough courage. But I have the feeling I’m slowly getting better. And this is what really counts. It’s all about continous improvement, right?
I wouldn’t necessarily say I get more done because of Personal Agility. But I can definitely say I get the right things done. More than ever before.
